Mindset and Confidence Coaching for Leadership and Life
This isn’t what you imagined your life would be like.
You worked your ass off to ‘make it,’ you told yourself that you were sacrificing for your family, and that it wouldn’t always be like this.
You had yourself convinced that, one day, the hustle factor could get turned down.
But when you weren’t looking;
When you were so caught up in work;
While you hustled and sacrificed…
You didn’t notice how much you were losing yourself, and the family you always wanted.
You wanted freedom - freedom of time, to be with family and friends more. Financial freedom, to be able to live without the constant typical standards to produce, and the glaring weight of demanding supervisors and managing directors. You rose to their level specifically so that you could change things and ‘do it’ differently than they did.
You wanted the freedom to choose niches and projects on your own terms, highlighting your interests, and work only in a way that left you feeling lit up and passionate about your career.
So, you started to climb, scale, and grow.
You hustled, got down with the grind, and scaled:
Your career
Your lifestyle
Your finances
Your business
Your expectations
Your responsibilities
But you could never have predicted or planned for the downside of scaling.
So, here you are, feeling like you’re drowning. Anxious, overwhelmed, and constantly stressed. Your sleep sucks, if you can sleep at all. Your home life is getting trashed, because the energy of your work day follows you everywhere, leaving you to take it out on the people you say you love. You’re arguing with your partner more and more, your kids are actively avoiding you, and you’re scared your friends might be the next people who start to slowly drop away.
You’re catching yourself feeling resentful of work daily because the impact you were trying to create - freedom - was the exact thing you’re still chasing. Instead of your career being the thing that created freedom in your life, it became all-consuming. You know you need to change how you’re managing it, but day after day, you keep running back to work because it’s become an escape from home. And let’s face it - work is the only place you still feel confident, even though you know it’s turning the rest of your life into a hot mess.
Work - the career you’ve spent so much time dreaming of and creating - is both running you and consuming you. It’s become your whole personality, it’s eaten up your identity, and it’s killing the personal life you also worked so hard to create.
There’s a time to care for your career, but there’s also a time to care for you.
Your identity cannot - and should not - ever be about what you do. It’s about who you ARE.
You are a whole entire human being - full of thoughts, feelings, emotions, worries, dreams, wants, needs, and so much more - and it is ridiculously simple to lose touch with all those things when you’re caught on the roller coaster of entrepreneurship or being a rising executive.
Listen, I get it.
I’ve been self-employed for the last decade, through multiple businesses, and what feels like a million little lessons (most of which were learned the hard way). I’ve gone through moments of relationships suffering because I lost perspective on what I really value, and I’ve had moments of realizing the toll my stress was taking on my body. I’ve have to confront the hard choices about business structure, time management, and boundaries and expectations, in order to get my priorities back where they really needed to be.
I didn’t know what I didn’t know - and the same holds true for you
It doesn’t matter if you went to school for business, learned all.the.things about how to be a successful entrepreneur or executive, and are the quintessential expert in your professional circles. You are still going to be vulnerable, you’re still going to be imperfect, you’re still going to have moments of getting lost in the suck and struggle. It’s easy, with all of that, to end up feeling isolated, stuck in imposter syndrome and a fixed mindset, dealing with fatigue, burnout, and more - just to feel like you can’t talk about it, and have your personal life suffer because of it.
It doesn’t have to be that way.
Going from employee to being the boss is not for the faint of heart. It requires courage and bravery, a whole bunch of risk tolerance, and most of all -
GRIIT and POWER.
I developed the GRIIT and POWER methods to help entrepreneurs and executives - like you - bridge the gap between work and home.
The pillars of these systems address ways to unf*ck your personal life, so you can get busy creating a personal playbook you actually feel excited about, and take you from surviving to thriving.
GRIIT is:
Growth
Resilience
Identity
Integrity
Training
POWER is:
Pause for Perspective
Observe and Organize
Work the Problem
Express the Impact
Recover
You’ve spent your career leading others. You’ve used so many of these skills to build up your career and the people who look up to you professionally. These things aren’t new - but have you taken the time to also translate these skills into your personal life? (Since you’re here, I’m gonna take a wild guess and say the answer is no…)
Mindset is where the work begins, and is where we start the process of getting you back in touch with you, while re-building your life. This is all about GRIIT. As we work through the pillars of GRIIT, this is where we’ll:
Get your mindset squared away
Remind you that you’re so much more capable and resilient than you think you are
Reveal your most authentic self
Get back in touch and re-aligned with your values
Create a system of behavior that keeps you moving forward instead of constantly looking back
Along the way, we’ll have to address the inevitable problems any of us can face in life. You may be a killer problem solver at work, but if problems in your personal life just throw you into chaos or shut you down entirely, you need POWER. POWER is a system of problem solving, and problem management. When we work through the pillars, you’ll learn:
The importance of taking a minute to get control over your nervous system before addressing an issue
How to make sure you’ve got the right information that’s actually pertinent to an issue, instead of rushing in blindly to try to address something
Why it’s important to have an actual strategy for problem solving, so that you can work through a process instead of trying to throw spaghetti at the wall and see what sticks
The value in connection after a problem is solved, because we heal in community
How to create a realistic system of self-care, that’s packed with helpful, actionable items to recover from the stress of problem solving
The pillars of GRIIT and POWER are designed specifically to get you to slow down, reevaluate and realign, so you can move forward in your personal life with confidence, feeling empowered, and deeply connected to a life and people you truly love. I get this work, and I understand the challenges you face, because as an entrepreneur and recovering workaholic, I have learned to lead my life through GRIIT and POWER too.
At the end of our time together, you’ll walk away feeling:
In control of your emotions and perspective
Optimistic about the future because you actually have a plan
Grounded and clear, in knowing exactly who you are
Aligned with your values and clear on your priorities
Secure with a plan for how you’re going to continue to level up your personal life
Clear on how to address problems calmly and confidently
Organized in your thought process as you address inevitable, normal life problems
Confident in your ability to communicate about what you need and how you’re impacted by problems
Secure in a clear plan on how to take consistent care of yourself
You can continue to have an incredible career, and it doesn’t have to come at the cost of your personal life. You don’t have to do this alone. Reach out today, and let’s get you back to really, truly living.
Some say that professional success is the dream - but you’ve been there, done that.
The ultimate rebellion is personal success.
You deserve to live fully, bringing your dreams to life, and loving this ride the whole entire way.

Psychotherapists are trained to treat mental illness, while coaches are not - and do not treat it. Mental health problems are incredibly stigmatized, but are also very common. If you’re dealing with a mental health issue, and need the support of a psychotherapist (in addition to coaching) we’ll work together to get you connected to someone you feel comfortable with. The benefit of working with a coach who is also a trained and experienced psychotherapist, is that I’ll be able to recognize more things about you, your story, and your patterns, faster than a typical coach.
Therapy is also typically very restrictive, for several reasons. It’s federally regulated, so psychotherapists have strict licensing requirements they’re required to follow. Coaching is not a regulated industry, so there is more flexibility in not only how coaches can work, but how services can be provided to their clients.
And lastly, psychotherapy generally tends to focus on the past and present, while coaching generally focuses on the present and future. There is overlap in what each approach can help you address, but coaching is there to help you understand your current situation while getting you to achieve your future goals.

One of my favorite quotes is ‘People change when the amount of pain they’re in outweighs their desire to remain the same.’ You’re here for a reason - you’re in pain. I know, from having done this work for a long time now, that pain is an incredible motivator and can be the catalyst for an incredible amount of change.
I can’t make you any guarantees, because as with anything, you’ll get out of this what you put in. But, when you show up for yourself, giving yourself permission to be vulnerable and really look at the messy shit, while taking ownership and being accountable - growth and change become inevitable.
The most reliable predictor of success in coaching and/or therapy is the relationship and connection you have with the coach or therapist you choose. This is why I offer a free consult, so we can make sure together that I’m the right person to guide you through this part of your life. Your success is the most important thing to me, so if I’m not the right fit, I’ll make sure to leave you with recommendations of people to seek out.

Reach out to schedule a free consultation! Before anything, it’s important to make sure we’re really the right fit and that you feel truly comfortable with me. When we talk, I’ll ask you questions about what’s going on in your life, and you’ll have the opportunity to ask me questions. Once we decide together that coaching is the best, right answer, we’ll set our first appointment and you’ll receive onboarding paperwork via email.
